I just finished putting my '95 Magnum 425 back together after rebuilding the carb. Took it for a test run and the 4wd wasn't working. Then I tested it in low gear and reverse and it was working in those gears. Any ideas about what to check to fix this?

Not familiar with that model, but if it has selectable 2wd/4wd it could be an issue with a wiring connector

 

....although if it works in low, what I just said makes no sense.

I have an '04 ATP which is a Magnum in most respects. Theres a widget in the tranny that tells enables the AWD in Low and High and routs through a different circuit path (the override button) in Rev. My WAG is that the tranny widget is jacked up and is not enabling the AWD in high. Probably the high position in the switch has gone **** up.

either the switch is messed up or linkage out of adjustment. just a guess.
