sportsman camshaft

Default sportsman camshaft
Ive just gone through my second camshaft in my 96 sportsman 500...why are these things wearing out so quickly? is there a better aftermarket cam that I can put in here? any suggestions?

Default sportsman camshaft
anyone know if the 500 HO cam will work or last longer? More power with this cam? Also, Anyone have tips for getting my timing right when I put the machine back together?
