I have an 87 honda TRX350 4x4. When I first bought it used the electric start worked on it. Now when I push the button it makes a clicking noise. The noise is coming from the back. I checked fuses and battery and they all seem to be fine. What might the problem be? Is there any connections that might be loose? if so where at? any help would be greatful thanks.

 

hi thier i got same bike and same problem... what i did is, gave the starter a tap with a small hammer and it seem to start every time ,which i dont recommened doing to often, but you can try that, i eventually went and bougth a starter kit and that seemed to end my problem....

 

The brushes in the starter are worn out. Rebuild it or replace it.
