Sorry SG1221. I can't help, but I would like to know what is bad with these carbs. I don't own one, but everything I have read about these are bad things. Are thre any certain malfunctions with these Quicksilver carbs? Thanks.

I run a 39mm FCR on my 426ex. I am going to a 440 kit in the next few weeks. I have had nothing but the best results with this carb. There is only one minor problem I can think of with it and that is it is hard to start when it is real cold out. The carb has no choke. I only have that problem once in a while..
The 39mm is plenty of carb for the 440 kit according to LRD Performance. I have talked to them and they are going to do my 440 kit..
I would also suggest a new cam if you dont already have one with your 440 kit..
Email me if you have any questions and I will help you find any info you need..
