I am looking to buy a quad for my son, I think that I want to start him out on a 50 and then maybe move him up to a 90. I am going to stick with a major manufactuer because I am going to keep the quad for my youngest son. Does anyone have any experience or adivce on this subject?

 

In my view, the best 50 is the four-stroke '06 or '07 made by Kymco, who makes them for themselves, for Arctic Cat (we have the AC DVX50, but AC doesn't sell the 50 anymore), and I believe Kawasaki(?). I would buy direct from Kymco (and would have if I had known what I know now), because they offer a 1-year warranty (and 2 years powertrain here in Toronto right now), and they have a nice headlight.
