I have a '96 banshee that i am setting up for drag racing. I am going into the motor and putting vitos super stock piston kit, their degree key, lighten my flywheel, and i want some new reeds. I can't decide between duncan's pyramid reeds or those V-force delta reeds. Does anybody by chance have dynos on these or any experience with either of these reed setups?

cspyy

'96 banshee, toomey's, prodesign cool head w/19cc domes, trinity stage 4 cv manifold system and 34mm carb, boysen dual stage reeds, K&N, 7" over aluminum swingarm, 21" 9 paddle haulers, mohawks, douglas rims, renthal bars, cascade seat cover, and lots of chrome.

Reeds are reeds, just get the cheapest and save money, same with rad valves.

The carbon reeds I hear you will have to replace more often so I would suggest just going with the regular ones.

go to mobiledyno.com
reeds are not just reeds. The rad valve actually lost power.

hey cspyy, i see you are from LA, same here, drags are a huge thing here and i ealize u want optimum power out of your machine. i am currently running the pyramids now, i have a set of v force in the mail, i will let u know how they work. my engine builder swears by thema nd says an extra 4hp will be gained...we'll just have to see about that!
