Default Yamaha Blaster: Good and Bad

I am looking at buying a Yamaha Blaster. It has a brand new rebuilt engine in it. What are some good and bad things about this quad?

The bad= The brakes are garbage on them depending on the year. I belive it was 2003 they put good breaks on them. They are a little small on size if you are over 5'9" Other than that I really can't complain about any thing.

The good= There are a ton of aftermarket parts to make it faster when you want more. PArts are a dime a dozen on ebay. There is more but thats the main stuff.

The Blaster I am looking at is a 1989 and has a rebuilt motor in it. I am hoping to pick it up for a few hundred bucks.

Yeah lots of ruts and mud up here on the trails in Ohio, but always away around them.

at 6'5 the blaster will feel small to you. but they are good little quads and a ton of fun, and if you can get it for a good deal then i say go for it.

Having a quad thats too small is better than no quad at all.

Its like you read my mind. I just want something to ride right now and if this is what I can afford, than this is what I am going to ride.
