Hello All,

I stopped by a used car dealer today in a small town where I live because I happened to see that they had a couple polaris atvs out. They will take them in trade occasionally.

Looking at a 1995 400 2x4 Liquid Cooled Sport with racks. Looks completely stock and well ridden. Went to find the salesman to ask how much. Can't find him around so I leave and figure I might call back later.

I just sold my 2001 Trailblazer and I'm thinking that I would buy an older sport model with a bigger engine just to play around with. I'm thinking maybe $800 or so for this bike.

Get home and check his website and he's got this thing priced at $2450. I figure at least I found of from the website so I wouldn't laugh in his face when he told me.

Would it be overly insulting to offer him $800-$900 for it after I hear it run? That is all NADA says it is worth. If anyone is interested in looking the website is www.laconmotors.com.
