Just got back from the mountain....

it was fairly packed but I have seen it worse. the few non bomb people I had invited to camp with us all brought someone else with them to camp in our circle so we ended up prematurely full long before the weekend came. sorry again that everyone from the forum wouldnt fit. did enjoy seeing Dragon and his dad, pipelayer , and sandbomber and raptorrandy, all cool folks by the way. probably met some others but my mind is like a siv when it comes to names. LOL. anyway, my bike ran awsome and was tracked on 2 different reputable radar guns at back to back 93mph and 94mph runs. not bad for over 4200 ft elevation. I was told by many that no one there ran faster than 94 but wouldn't swear to it. there were some fast bikes there! I dont know how many hill passes I made but I ran everything that looked fast that would line up with me and didnt lose to anyone till friday night and that was to rubdubs nasty 18 mill drag banshee. we ran 3 times. the first time he got ahead of me off the line (of course) and I was reeling him in at around 15mph and I believe we were dead even when we ran out of hill. the second time I wheelied and he didnt(of course) and he was probably 3 bikes ahead at the top. the third time , the hill was so rutted up on the starting line that I got all bent out of shape and went sideways and had to let out of it. he then was out of fuel so we didnt get to run again. my bike did recieve some damage though. I let an experienced 130lb jocky run it up the hill just to break the 100mph barrier and on his second pass , being used to riding 2 strokes , he had the bike on the rev limiter while at boost for way to long and I believe pushed out a head gasket. didnt even get to run it on saturday. he did exactly what I asked him to do but the bike is so quiet that he just held it wide open till it lost power. if matters werent bad enough, while decellerating he was t boned by some idiot on an old 250r three wheeler that was crossing the busy drag hill sideways... believe it or not , I'm actually glad he was on my bike because if he was on one of his dads drag banshees he may have been injured or even killed. the big old bomb took the shot from the side, went up on 2 wheels which scared the kid enough to bail off the bike and then it landed right back on all four and coasted to a stop. the three wheeler did a couple flips and ended up upside down. no one was hurt. thats whats important. I just have one badly bent wheel. anyway, I have tons of pics and movies of the weekend (dont think there are any of me though) and I am going to post them on photobucket and post a link in here. fun weekend except for the break down should have just kept my own butt on the seat I guess.

Great time as always. SST, thanks for finding me and showing me where Randy was camped. I would have never found him at that point, it was getting dark. Your bike was running like mad, bummer it went down. I don't think it will stay that way though. Good Luck

Damn 94? Sounds like you have it dailed in great... My bike was absolutely dead at SM... almost like the power adder was adding no power...LOL I am working on the problem... I got there late friday so I didn't even get to see you run.

Hopefully there weren't too many people needing helicopter rides out of there???
Metal,
You bike looks like something straight out of Mad Max
