I was wondering if anyone out here can help me. I just purchased a 07 Honda TRX450ER .. I got a full TC Racing exhaust, Curtic Sparks Air Filter Kit, 175 Main Jets (needle replacement) Should i run this with my lid off the air box? and do i need to mess with the leak and pilot jets?
I couldnt stand the sound of my stock TRX, but now i want to do it the right way. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Someone help!!!

 

You will not get the most out of your mods, with the lid on. On the other hand, if you ride in the wet, you will have to keep the lid and live with it.

I always take my lids off and get an EHS Racing Outerwears lid.

 

Leave air box lid on

 

get a EHS racing lid, like reconranger said. Less restrictive then the regular lid, yet wont let dirt and water in (to a certain extent)

 

Thanks to ya'll for all the great advice! Seems like i do need to remove the lid (once i have the sparks air/filter kit in) with the TC Racing (full exhaust) ... I can't wait! the stock stylee is really bummin me out lol! she just sounds "scared" (stock) know what i mean? Almost like it wants to stall out and being real restricted.
