Hello.... I was wondering if someone can help me out.

I was trying to pull the starter off of my TrailBoss and had one hell of a time. Shop manual states to remove the whole starter assembly in order to remove the starter - is this completely necessary? Well, I failed at that task.

So I tried to remove the starter from the starter assembly itself. I was able to get to the 2 bolts inside the pull start cover. Then there were two bolts on the other side, which I could only get to 1 of them. The other is almost impossible to reach without having to remove the clutch. Even if I get to this one last bolt, are the any other bolts I'm not seeing?

I need to get this sucker off and get fixed or replaced! Thanks!
