300ex spark plug

Hey there,Check out NKG CATALOG on line.
Go to ATV,and follow the steps.
They'll give you the right # for the oe plug and show you a photo of it.

My experience with the 300EX is that it is very sensitive to having a plug of the right heat range! Find out what the stock plug is and try it, then try a half range cooler in summer and hotter in winter. Maybe even a whole range if you live where it is extremely hot or extremely cold. You may be able to fine tune your performance.....

I have a Haynes manual theTRX 300EX Standard NGK DR8ES-L or ND X24ESR-U Cold climite(below 41 degrees F...............NGK DR7ES or ND X22ESR-U Extended High Speed Riding.......NGK DR8ES or ND X27ESR-U TRX400 EX - Standard..................NGK DPR8Z or ND X24GPR-U Extended High Speed riding..............NGK DPR9Z or ND X27ESR-U GAP.........0.6 to 0.7mm (0.24 to0.28 inch ) Clutch lever freeplay............10 to 20mm (3/8 to3/4 ) I got this info from a Haynes 2318 Manual Covers HONDA TRX 300EX & TRX 400EX ATVs 1993 thru 1999 Year models 282cc to 397cc Ownwers Workshop Manual I hope this is of some help...........................williebee !
