Default LT50 Gearing

I am trying to find a 9 tooth front? Is there one or is that just too small? Or I could go with a larger rear sprocket. I can't seem to find anything but stock. I want a fairly signifigant drop. I have done all of the basic mods and it has plenty of power on top but my daughter dosen't ride there. I need more poop at slower speeds.

I have not researched this and there may be ready made stuff available to suit your needs. If, however, if you can't find what you want off the shelf try contacting a chain and gear supplier in your area. They will be able to supply you with a blank center sprocket with the tooth count you want for the rear, and maybe the front, which you could then modify to fit the bike.

Here's what I've done to my son's 03 LT50A. It's really made a big improvement over stock performance. It still maxes out at about the same MPH, but it gets up to speed MUCH quicker now:

1) Removed intake restrictor
2) Cleaned up intake casting
3) Removed exhaust restrictor
4) Ground carb slide to achieve full WOT
5) 70 main jet (55 stock)
6) Removed piggy-back pilot jet
7) Milled head .030"
8) Lightened clutch weights
9) Drilled air box
10) Removed muffler insert and end cap.

dwhst9, I have done most of the mods that you have except milling the head, grinding the carb slide, and the clutch weights. I did also raise the needle up one clip groove. I have probably doubled the power on it. When my boy rides it, at above 1/2 throttle, it'll do amazing things. However he rides an LT80 and my daughter rides the 50. She isn't into going fast or jumping, she likes to go through mud and over logs and bumps. What she really needs is a 4 stroke. Anyway, I've got the desired amount of power, I just need to get it down where she rides.

tencubed, that's what I am trying to find. thanks
