KOMOTO 150cc BLUEBIRD
#1
My husband just purchased a Komoto 150CC bluebird. We really know NOTHING about ATV's. Now that we purchased it maybe I should have asked these questions sooner....but for "first time" atv'ers, what are the opinions out there? I have searched and searched on the internet for Komoto but can't find anything. Can anybody help me with specifications, where it's made and how it rates compared to other ATV's. Thanks!!

My husband purchased it from a guy at his work and I have no clue where he got it. He said he only used it a few times, too much for his son. But do you know anything about these particular ATV's. Good/bad/ugly??? HELP!!!

I am fairly new to ATV thing my self but this is a very good forum to get the info you are seeking .There are a few threads covering the subject of the 150 cc hi-birds.Depending what you paid for it from what reviews I have read in here people are very happy with them.I have a new one do to arrive tomarrow. From what I know they are made in china. You can buy them new from most dealers for around $900. deliverd to your door. Some of the older models were shaft driven instead of chain, automatic transmissions with revers.Being a lesser expensive bike then the Jap models they do require a little more rutine maintanence.Check all the the screw, nuts, bolts to make sure they are all tight.

here is a link to a manual for a 150 cc hi-bird it may help you .
Also it would be a good idea to change the oil in it first thing.I think you will be very happy with it.For an inexpensive atv they have supprising power.
There are quite a few people on here that are very knolegable and will be able to help with your questions.
