Default Need for rejetting?

I am planning to go riding in Utah or somewhere else with mountains. My ATV is an 05 Honda Rubicon 500 (CARB) and I was woundering how much power loss i will encounter, and how my ATV will run with out rejetting it. I need to know if I absolutely have to rejet it or if it will run fine without much change. THANKS, can't wait for a reply

Yes you do have to rejet or you will not have to much power. You will need to get the correct size jet. I can't remember right now but I will look later on and let you know what jet I used. What part of Utah do you plan on riding in? I have rode the Pauite Trail twice now and it is awesome.
