I have been given a good budget to buy my son his first Quad I would prefer a brand name model for resale value and reliability. If money was not an option which one would you pick and why? My boy is six years old but is big for his size. Your opinions is greatly appreciated.

I was leaning towards Can-am's new DS 90 but it is built by Her Shee motors in Taiwan. I would prefer Japanese built.

the newest dirt wheels had a shoot out between the suzuki and the polaris 90cc. polaris seemed to be a little better. more susp. i like suzuki better my self. my son has the old lt80 2 stroke . cant kill it. but the new 4 stroke dont know much about. i think the are all competitive with each other .i heard the can am 90. is real good. kawasaki and suzuki same thing. not a fan of the yamaha rapter, plus its a 80cc with small tires. overall my bet would be with the polaris. it fairly large most travel reverse!!!!!! reports stated no failures!! good luck

 

Ppl seem to really like the new Z90 Suzuki. They added a swingarm. That was the only thing wrong with the LT80's.
I'm not sure of what Kaw/Arctic cat quads are using, if they are a Kymco, they are a great option.

i think the Lt80 and the 80 cc kawasaki are the same machine iv herd nuthing bad about them i think they are japaneze !! lots of restrictors for a new rider and lots of mods if ya want to soup it upa bit.

I also like the Yamaha grizzly 125 it will last the rider longer and has reverse and a list of great features check it out.
