This spring when I started my 02 Warrior (stock - no mods) it would start but not stay running. It idles but as soon as you hit the throttle it stalls out. I actually got it to fire up and run once around the yard, then it would not stay running again. Any ideas? It will start up fine but the throttle stalls it.

The air filter is freshly cleaned, the gas is on obviously. I put Sta-bil in the gas and added a little fuel antifreeze this spring. Beyond that I am hoping someone has some ideas.

 

I heard that over oiling the air filter could clog the pilot jet. The filter did have too much oil on it, do you think that cleaning the carb will do the trick?
