Welcome to the forums.

As far as a used quad goes, the dealer is the last place you would want to look. They ask top dollar, and it may not be worth it.

Check out something like ATV trader online or Craigslist.

You may find a good deal on ebay. Just be sure it's not too good of a deal, and I'd ask if I could see the quad before I bid.

Good luck.

2nd vote for www.craigslsit.org . I can't believe how many keep popping up on the Nashville site.

I just bought a 2006 YFZ 450 off of Craigslist.

I went as far as made a quick chart to compare features side by side. You will still need to go look them oer, ride them if at all possible and do all the usual stuff you do when buying used equipment.

Once I narrowed them down to about six I spent a Saturday looking at them all.

It took me less than a week compare, narrow down and find a pretty fair deal on a quad ridden by a "wife" that does not ride anymore.

I ran into one. Quad was in San Antonio but the guy was in New York. Just send him a deposit, and he'll hold it for me.

Riiiiggghhtttt.

Like any other place, check out all the details, and never send money up front.
