Will a fmf header fit up to a hmf slip on??? thanks for the help

 

i know an FMF mid pipe will fit a crotch rocket DnD slip on exhaust lol

 

I don't think so... we tried this with a Pro Circuit header and HMF slipon on my buddies Z400. The connection is not the same. We had to have the HMF stretched out with an exhaust spreader.... what a disaster. Split the HMF and had to weld it up.... not worth the trouble if you ask me... the DS headers are very good stock, better than most other bikes. Unless you are drag racing and need that extra 1/4 horse stick with the stock headers. I am running stock header with HMF slipon with a Lectron 48, and I am as happy as can be. Cams or piston would be money better spent.
