Kids ATV ? Sportsman 90?

Kids ATV ? Sportsman 90?
I want to get my son started in ATV's. I like the utility look over the sporty look.
1. Is the Sportsman 90 a good choice or is there something out there that you feel is a better machine for the money.
2. Do any of the small machines have 4x4 and reverse?
3. Any idea if the Sportsman 90 will change for "08"
