Default 400 sportman won't start please help

I stored my quad over the winter and now i am trying to start it and cannot. I have replaced the battery and all it does is click from what i see marked as an inverter or magnetic switch which is located right next to the battery. I am not very mechanically inclined however i am desperate to get this going for my son. The engine does not turn over at all it only clicks from the tiny module located right next to the battery. Does this part wear out? I would so appreciate any help. The lights and the speedo cluster all work.....

please and thank you

did you try pull starting it? maybe while it was stored there might have been moisture in the cylinder and ceased it just enough so the starter won't turn it over(just a suggestion)

that would be the solniode your talking about. w/ the key turned on w/ a jumper wire touch the 2 big wires together and that will bypass the solnoide and if it turns over then its bad. also make sure the conections are tight and not corroded on the battery to the solnoide and starter and make sure ground is the same way.
