Default Reverse limiter

Hi, I have a Polaris Sportman 500. Until today, the atv would turn off anytime I shifted into reverse. I unplugged the reverse limiter and reverse works but now the atv will not turn off even if I remove the key. How can I keep the reverse limiter unplugged but still be able to turn off the atv? Any suggesions? Thanks

Sounds like you unplugged the black wire from the cdi kill circuit if the key switch will not kill the machine. The limiter(depending on year model) is located either above or below the cdi and it has the black wire that needs to pulled.
