I have a older liq. cooled polaris 400 , the problem is that every once and awile the thing starts poping and backfireing when I start to take off....the strange thing is that I can put it in reverse for about 50 feet then back in forward with a stop in nuetral , and the problem seems to rectify its self for a while.........any help on this strange quirk would really be appreciated!!!!
