Just finished registering the new ATVs

Not sure if there are any guys from MA on here, but from what I have seen with other registered quads, not sure if it was New Hampshire though, I have seen two stickers you place on the inside or outside of the fenders. What I have never seen though is a 4" x 7" metal license plate.
My question is, if you have a metal license plate, where did you mount it on your ATV and how. I believe it must be mounted on the rear since there is only one.
Any help is great, thanks

On my Scrambler mounted the plate on the frame rails, so if you were laying on the ground and looked up you could see it On my SP I mounted it basicly on the top of the rear of the transmission. Kind of a trend here for me. Hard to see means hard to read LOL But I've never had any hassle from the law about it. I just tell them there is nowhere else for it

ya stendori, I was thinking of wire tieing it to the rear grab bar. I was also thinking of making a mount that bolted to were there is a hole (I think for a whip flag) I'll see how wire ties go. We're also registering them in NH, I hope they don't have plates also,

Hey Phoenix, I live in MA but register in NH and ride in Claremont, NH as part of the Sullivan County ATV club. I would use the rear grab bar too. I had that setup on my Xplorer and Kawasaki Lakota when I used to ride in Vermont. I usually used two black (weather resistent) zip ties through each of the top holes of the plates and carried a handful for when they would let loose. Another thing I used to use that was a little more durable were the wire clamps that they use to put the main electric service wire onto your house. They are like a circle with two tabs that you can run a bolt through. It allows the plate to hang loose if you need to get into a rear storage box. Hope this helps.

I live in Mass too but on the south shore and there is no where legal to ride,if you want to ride in Mass you have to go to the NY boarder,so We just register them in Maine where they make new trails and welcome this type of activity not take your money and give you no place to ride.

Miniexcavator where do you live?? My dad knows someone who lives in Chelmsford/Groton and there is suppose to be a legal place to ride there, and I guess there is a place in Burlington to ride also, not the pits or powerlines,
