Default Kids Artic Cat 90

I was wonderinf if anyone knew how to take the governor off this Artic Cat 90 for my kid to make it go faster. Thanks

Ya man, there are several restricors to look for.
1. The restricrer in the intake tube, between the carb. and cylinder.
2. The restricter in the exhaust pipe. Look for this one between the cylinder and the exhaust flange.
3. Remove the bushing on the variator. You do this by removing the clutch/belt cover then use and impact to remove the nut from the clutch on the engine. Pull the assembly off and remove the bushing.
4. Remove the throttle limiter bushing from the carb. Pull the carb. off and pull the slide out. remave slide from cable and then remove the bushing.

This should give you lots more power. I did all of this to mine and it really goes now. Hope this helps.

Depending on what year it is some cats had huge rear sprockets as well to limit top end speed.

I think it matters weather it is a 2 stroke or 4 stroke i looked at all the things you said on my kids 4 stroke and found nothing in the carb or between carb and motor have not took pipe off yet though.
