I have an 03 blaster, it was running fine until the winter. Me and my friend were riding it in the snow doing donuts, reving out the gears and then it stalled. We would let it cool down and then do it again. About a week later the quad stopped working. 4 months later we bought a new plug, and sprayed carb cleaner and got the quad started. Every time I ride it, it rides funny seems like it lost power. After 15-20 mins of riding if you turn it off, you will have trouble getting it running. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong with my quad, please help.

 

Sounds like you may have sucked in some snow,that turned to water in the carb, that will raise hell with the small ports in a carb, water will often prevent gas from flowing, and it will run or idle poorly, or not even start. If you let it sit for 4 months, I would say the carb needs to be completely disassembled, sprayed out and all passages blown clear. Old gas will varnish up the little jets and ports,plus you may have had old water in there, causing corrosion. Start with a good cleaning and that might be all you need.
