My son has an 01 sportsman 2 stroke (we got it used). Looking at the back of the muffler, it is packed with 2 stroke crud. This exhaust is a one piece system welded together. It is impossible to remove it without cutting it in half.
Has anybody figured out how to clean the muffler? how to take it apart? Repack it?
I can see packing material blocking the screen toward the end of the muffler;I am sure it is caked with gunk.
Help me obi-one :-)
