Can you go to a store that makes keys, dealers always rip you off and they will probaly want like $30 for one key.

you'll pay more for a locksmith to make you a key than you will for the dealer to order you one

I'm surprised no one else has said anything, and nothing personal to you, but with all the ATV thefts that go on, someone coming on here and the first post they make is how to get a key for a quad,or bypass the key, makes people a little suspicious. Please don't take it the wrong way, we all lose stuff, but so many on here have lost ATVs to theft, so asking about new keys or bypassing a key switch can set off some of the members. Your best bet for a key is the dealer, he can take the frame ID number and get a factory key, not cheap, but legal.

Good grief, Give him a break. If he was looking to steal an ATV, I don't think he would be looking here for instructions on how to do it. And secondly, it's not illegal for him to hotwire his own machine or by-pass the key.

Did I come out blasting you and calling you a thief???? NO, I put it as diplomatically as possible, coming on here your first post and asking how to get a key has drawn a lot of fire in the past, so many on these forums have lost valuable ATVs , and I was expressing my concerns. Your response, not only immature, shows I may have hit a nerve, If you did lose your key and own the quad, then you have my apology for anything I may have said to suggest otherwise, but after seeing how you replied, maybe I was closer to the point than you liked. Besides, I doubt a little boy like you has anything to eat anyway.

This user has 3 different screen names that I can tell ( pred07, az416ex + AZ300EX) which makes the new user coming on here theory to try and find a way to start a quad plausible. With one post to az416ex screen name I thought the same thing the other day when I first read it. If you would have used AZ300EX I doubt if this would have happened.

AZ300EX I want you to read this thread :
