Not quite from scratch. I had to bike for 16 hours and the first time i started it to take it down to the barn to check it out the throttle hung wide open and took me for a ride that ended at a 2500 pound machine. I knocked the machine back 4 feet and flew 30 feet across the field. Fortunately i am a big guy and only sprained my shoulder and cut up my left arm.

Holy cow!!! Glad you weren't seriously injured.

Maybe you should add brakes to the list too.
