Whats the top speed of a 250r and a 350x, that are completely stock?

 

I am sure we will get arguments 'bout this but here goes..... My '85 350x=62mph.Rode next to street bike on pavement. Stock 22in. tires.I'm not bragging and know speedos have some errors.

 

That's right, the 350X is between 60-65mph and the 250R is about 70-75mph stock.

 

My 84 atc 250r went 72 mph w/boyeson reeds and the rest stock.

 

My 85 350X would do 67 mph according to the speedo connected to the front wheel. I had stock tires and sprockets. I later changed the motor with a new crate motor, put a DG RCM exhaust on, new K&N filter, and I would top out at 65 mph?? I still say that 85 motor was better than my 86 that is on there now and most people tell me it is usually just the opposite.

I have friends with 250Rs and they would swear that they could run 85 mph so we would line em up and then when I would hit top end they would slowly pull away. I would tell them later that my speedo showed around 65 mph and there was no way they were 20 mph faster than me. Of course they told me my speedo was wrong and I would just add, 'It only FEELS like 85 because you are on a three wheeler!'

I used a gps on my 250r and it got up to 73 and thats with a 12tooth front with 20 ohtsu's. Its kind of hard reading a gps while driving though.

 

here's my offering of help the 86 atc 250r engine puts out 38 hp and as mean as the 350x engine is i don t think it has that same hp

 

I think a stock 350X puts out around 27-30 hp. Somebody let me know if they heard different.

 

i have 1982 250r with 0.70 piston very high compression and my gps said i was doing 72.my gearing is 13t in the front and in the rear 44

 

He probably figured it out by now
