Default Oil leak???

I unloaded my 04 DS650 at work today after a long weekend of riding at the dunes. As I was parking the bike I noticed what looked to be a oil leak that started where the starter motor fits into the crank case. I did not have much time to really look further but I am wondering what I need to look for. What could be the cause???

Thanks

There is an o-ring on the starter.. just replace it.. and you should be good to go.

Default Oil leak???

I never can get that to stop leaking...... I just live with a small leak. I have replaced that o-ring and it takes about a month to start leaking again.

Default Oil leak???

Mine leaked for a couple of years as well. I got sick and tired of it. I install an oring that was way bigger (thicker) then the old one. Had to use a hammer to get the starter to go, but no more leaks now !!!
