has anyone ever looked at these as a replacement for the ds tank, there cheap on e-bay and there made out of plastic, the weight they would save is hugh. I've heard about oil bubbles in the ds though that might cause a concern. looks as if all the oil lines would be similar.

 

The only problem I see is mounting it, other than that try it.

 

i haven't looked at it in over 18 months but it seems large hose clamps are used, but i did get my head banged hard in iraq so i could be forgetting something[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
