Default buying a 300 ex

Hey guys My friends moving down to Bradenton Fl from Mi. to live and he wants
to pick up a quad so we can do some riding. I own a 2005 450R that he loves but
cant afford so i was thinking about a used 300 ex. His budget is tight, Id
say at $2000 mayb $2500 what do you guys think?

Dang,
too bad he won't be swinging by my house, I've been trying to sell my son's 300ex for a while now, it has lots of aftermarket stuff on it, looks and runs great, and I was asking 2,100. Maybe he could detour through Minnesota on his way down !!!!!

Only if he is on the smaller side. The 300 is the best tight trail quad of all time, but in open country it is going to be slow. Look for a 400EX as well.
