Does anyone know if high lifter front disc brakes work with the stock front rims. Thank you.

 

I just purchased a disc brake conversion for my 05 Rancher and it's a High Lifter kit that I got off Ebay. According to the instructions, the kit will fit the 350 Rancher, 450 Foreman, 500 Rubicon and 650 Rubicon. For the Honda 300 and Honda 400 it states that each must have 12 inch wheels and will NOT work with OEM stock wheels.
I plan on installing this kit on Friday.

 

yes i have it installed on an 02 rancher with stock rims, no problems yet calipers are close to rim. may be a issue in the snow. we will see
