I had my Honda Big Red taken out of storage and had a mechanic fix the clutch. Got it home and the float in the carb was stuck from rust in the tank. Fixed that problem, but now it is stuck in high idle. I know it has something to do with the throttle cable, needle and spring I took apart. I am trying to understand how the open slot and the idle screw work. I am pretty sure I put it back in wrong??? How does the thing work?

 

nevermind, i talked to the mechanic. i didn't have the angled slot lined up with the idle screw.
