where is the serial #?

where is the serial #?

It's called a VIN (vehicle identification number). Don't know about that far back, but on all the recent Hondas there is a flat bar behind the front bumper that has the number. Just look down from above and you can't miss it.

Honda made the TRX250 from 1985-87 then they made the TRX300 from 1988-2000 so you must have a TRX250 R (which is 2 stroke) or X (which is 4 stroke) .. The VIN on the R is up high on the frame tube between the front shocks .. The VIN on the X is down low on the plate between the bottom "A" arm mounts ...
