Default Scrambler Riders where are you?

I don't see Scramblers in the magazines or on TV racing events. We have 2 Scrambler 500's(01 and 03). I think that they are in a niche class, however they are still competitive in certain events. I ride with other quads, mainly sport quads and have NO trouble keeping up. They have trouble when the going gets ugly. I know everybody is talking about the RENEGADE 800 or the new Artic Cat 1000, which by the way out accelerates even the 450 racing quads. I saw a new RENEGADE at my riding club. The rear suspension was bouncing like a pogo stick with NO DAMPING at all. I asked him to climb our big hill called MT EVEREST. He declined.I asked him to go on a serious trail ride. He declined. It is best that he did because my Scrambler would have eaten him alive, the same as I did to a GRIZZLY last week. SCRAMBLERS ROCK if you know how to ride and use them.

the rags love to rip on the scrammy. they never seem to have anything good to say about it. even tho it out performs everything in its class...... if they would do a write up on scrammy 500 hop ups,,,,, it would be a much more attractive quad........

I think if they updated the Scrammy a little bit it would get good reviews. My thought is they should either make a 4wd Outlaw or an independent rear Scrammy. I'd love both. I still think the Scrammy is a great quad.

the scrammy is in a class by itself.not many companies makes a sport 4x4,can-am is the only one i can think of,and they don't get good reviews.always to big and heavy for a sport or can't carry lots of gear and weight for a utility.a very nice all around quad plenty of speed and sport when you want it and 4x4 when you fell like getting nasty . just my .02
