Default GYT-R CLUTCH FOR 2002 RAPTOR 660

I recently replaced my clutch w/ the GYTR Clutch kit. My previous clutch did not have the (1) Spring plate installed. I did not put it on w/ my GYTR clutch. I rode it for about 2-3 hours last saturday and after riding it pretty hard, it started crapping out on me. I heard a large "Bang" like I bottomed out. It still ran, so I baby'd it home about 200 yards or so, but it ran crappy when I tried to shift. Any ideas if it could be from missing that plate?

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer.... [=

Are you talking about the cushion spring that goes in the middle of the pack with the small fiber? I have not run one for years.
You may have damged the basket?
Also make sure the marks are lined up on the pressure plate and basket. Many people miss that.

Yea, the marks are lined up on the basket. I will check tonight to see what the H is wrong w/ it. The cushion spring is what i was talking about. My local Yamaha said that even the GYTR clutch needs that cusion spring since it's made by Yamaha.
