anyone seen the new 1000 cat? Dirt wheels says its the fastest 4x4....EVER. How could anyone control a 1000? I mean the weight must be a good amount.

 

They say it's the fastest ATV ever, including sport quads. They said they've tested them all. Hard to believe even though it's 950cc's of "explosion of power" as they said in an article I read.

 

yeah i see that. it weighs 716 LBS and the sportsman 800 twin is 757 LBS, while the sportsman X2 800 is 839 LBS.

 

yep look around, read something that said it toasted the outlander 800...

i think it would just tear up the trails and be no fun for others.

My God , Arctic Cat is not going to be the first Snowmobile company to start using the serious PWC and Snowmachine engines in there ATVs are they?

Is this 1000 motor out of there 162hp F1000 sled? F1000 specs.

Just to be fair none of the sled companies put in there baddest engines in there ATV. Can AM (Ski-doo) has 600cc engines with more hp than a 800 outlander and 800cc sled motors with ove 160hp ,so if anything they are holding back.

Even the 4 stroke Polaris twin 750cc out of there Dragon has 145 hp.
