i would try out one of those add on mufflers that attach to your existing muffler, i've heard that they help and i'm thinking of getting one too. on another note, i was looking at the pics you have and i was wondering what that contraption is that you have coming from the reciver of your quad to your truck

If it is Guard dog. They are good as heck.I welded mine in couple places its got lots of adjustments for it.kinda pain to do all of em so welded it good. But I climb hills and ride rough terain with it not letting go. just dont try to cross any washs that r to narrow.it sticks out too far and has gotten me wedged a few times

sorry it took so long to reply, out of town, its a louisianna guard dog. With a tool box in the truck you have two reverse the two post and use longer upright for bottom and shorter one (bottom) for upright. I then had to cut my reciever hitch in half and reweld so it would be twice as thick so that it would fit in coupler. Also I replaced tailgate straps with stainlees steel straps since rear wheels sit so far back on tailgate. Works great, have traveled many miles with no problems, love it....
