On my Scrambler there was one on the bottom, I can't remember what side, but it was there. If there isn't, just pull the lower ras hose off and make sure you have a big bucket and make sure it's not hot!!

Hey this is just a tip from exp. after changing out my Rad on my former
06'450. Even after we removed the bottom hose to drain out the coolant
(and yes it is a fast rush, splatty, all over the place, be sure to position
your drop bucket or whatever right, another TIP let your bike sit awhile
first from heat and rapidization issues) there was still a TON of coolant in
the fins, I guess? and the TOP as strange as that sounds, so when we removed
it and tilted the TOP inlet hole more came out.

Why am I saying all of this? You just want to drain? Just to alert you that there
still may be old coolant in your RAD even if you drain from the plug or bottom
hose end. Let the other experts chime in here, there may be some techniques, like
pumping or with air or something to get it all out, I am curious too. And if the
experts say its NO Big deal, its not much yadda yadda, thats cool too, its all good!
(Im no expert, just another Quad enthusaist, learning all these tricks of the trade)

Good thread!

According to the parts book it should be on the front left side of the machine if your sitting on the seat.

got a shop vac? if so here's a tip to get every bit of coolant out of it. of course you'll have to clean out the vac afterwards. remove the filter inside the vac. remove the radiator cap and put the vac hose over it. if the hose is a lot bigger than the filler neck then you can use some duct tape to seal it better. then just cut the vac on and it'll suck all the coolant out. haven't tried it on a quad yet but it works great on my mustang when I need to change out a pump or something.
