WHEN I GET ON THE THROTTLE OF MY 2001 KODIAK, THERE IS ALOT OF ENGINE NOISE OR SOMTHING CLATTERING!!! SOUNDS LIKE ENGINE NOISE TO ME. IS THIS NORMAL? MY BIG BEAR DID THE SAME THING AND IT DROVE ME NUTS!!!! MY DEALER SAYS IT IS THE VALVES IN THE MOTOR, AND THAT THEY ALL DO THIS. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!! THE KID.

 

The day I test rode my Kodiak at the Dealer, it made the same noise. At first, I thought it was a rod knocking slightly! I asked the dealer what that was, he said it was the way the UltraMatic transmission was made for the Kodiak, and not to worry about it, that they all did it to some extent.

 

HEY THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE VMAX 1500!! HAVE YOU HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE KODIAK? HAS THE CLATTER GOTTEN LOUDER OR QUITED DOWN SOME?
