if you do asearch you'll see where i found an airteck and another guy crosses it to a napa pn#. most people who have had trouble is when it starts to heat up and it completely breaks down and wont even start. another problem is they had problems w/ the internal wiring. they changed pumps in 07/23/07 ( ithink thats the date) on the 800's and guessing the same goes for the 700's. i dont know but im guessing its not the fuel pump thats giving the problem but i could be wrong.

Is your problem with the pump itself or the fuel level sending unit? If it's the sending unit I bet you will have to get that through Polaris. If it's the pump there is a thread about it like stendori said. What exactly is wrong with your machine?

YEAH i CAN'T SPELL, LOL no I am not sure if it is a pump or sending unit problem, or somthing else... I saw those p/n's for napa today but I thoutgt that was for an 800, also , do i really need a whole tank assembly if it is the pump, .... usually you can swap sending units and pumps out of most atv's and cars easy... I havent done much work to this machien yet because i just got it and this is the first problem.

I thought the 2005 800 was the first with EFI. I do not believe the 2004 700 was fuel injected (my buddy has one). The fuel injected quads have the pump in the gas tank. Where is yours?

Models A04CH68AP/AQ/AU/CU are fuel injected according to the parts lookup on Polaris' webpage so there are 04 700 fuelies.

Thanks for the correction.

I will be posting additional part numbers for the 800efi pump which is also available from Carter Pumps for under $100 including a new filter screen.
