HELP Traxter XT Can't access front UV grease fitting
#1
While changing the left brake cable on my 2002 Traxter XT, I discovered that the front drive shaft universal joints are not sealed but have zerk grease fittings. I was able to grease the rear UV on the front drive shaft, but cannot get the front UV on this shaft to take grease with any tool I can find. I've tried a needle and a spike as well as the standard grease gun tip. The space is just too tight and the fitting angle wrong. I can't even get a wrench on the fitting to take it out.
This is a working machine on a small ranch and I really need to get it back in service. I'd sure appreciate knowing how others grease this joint.
