Default 800 Scrambler?

Is there an 800 Scrammy in the works from Polaris? I know that I would be the first in line at my dealership. They should consider it, if they haven't already.

if they biuld one i don't think it will be a scrammy. it will probaly be in the outlaw family. they already have the irs, straight axle, and a 450. so 800 or bigger in an 4x4 irs outlaw maybe. just my thoughts.

Would hope that they build a hi-perf 4x4. Currently the outlaws are only 2 wheel. As well they are manual trans. The part I like most about my Scrammy is the Auto and 4x4. And no I don't want to buy a tank/sportsman. I've ridden one and did not like it. The IRS wouldn't be bad, but again I don't like it, as it tends to be detremental on side hilling, and other extremes where leaning is a problem.

honda has come out with a efi irs trx-700 man trans though.supposed to compete with the 700rappy. polaris is the only one with out a big bore sport quad.shoud be interesting which way they go with it.

I would love to see a big bore hybrid Polaris. I agree and don't think it will be under the Scrambler name. However, I feel that it will have to possess something unique because if it were just the SP 800 motor in a 4x4 sport, the renegade motor would still be much faster and more appealing.

I'm a polaris fan, but check out this vid of a renagade vs. an outlaw... the results are kinda shocking.

Default 800 Scrambler?

I received an email survey from Polaris about their ATVs and what it would take for me to buy one. I described in detail that I'm waiting for them to come out w/ a new light (525-550 lbs dry) sport/Hi-perf 4x4 with Outlaw-based frame and (4-wheel independent) suspension. A new stroker 800cc (or better yet, 840cc, it's GNCC legal) 4-stroke efi parallel twin based on the Weber 750 4-stroke (non-turbo) used in their sleds, not the 760 used in the sportsman, but using the Sportsman 800 tranny. Also, 25" tires, and a receiver hitch. I'm sure Polaris will answer the Renegade, but development takes time. I've seen this topic on many different forums and I never get tired of throwing in my two cents.

polaris could even take a sportsman 800 and strip it down as much as possible and tune it towards a sport ride instead of a tank. thats all the renegade is

when i was at the dealership, they had a renegade 500 and 800. they look crazy nice. but it looked really wide, for a high performance sport atv.
