what do nerf bars do for a polaris?how much lighter will it make it?

 

If you mean the nerf bars made for a polaris, all they do is keep over-aggresive riders from getting their tires to close to your feet. If you mean the ones from another quad adapted to a polaris(after removing floorboards), they may save a little wieght, but I think most people do it for the cool looks. Check out www.graydon-proline.com. They have yellow and purple nets to match the polaris colors, and I think most other companies only have red or blue.

 

I think DG makes some to fit the Sports/Scramblers, so they would probably fit on TB's too. They would probably shed a few pounds.

 

There is no company that makes nerf's like the one used in racing or on hondas or yamahas you have to do it your self. I have a set on my 95 TB what I used was a set of DG alloy's that are made to fit a banshee. you have to take off the floorboards an mounts then also go buy some footpegs for a recon then need to welf every thing on an need some squar tubing too.
