anybody have an easy way to remove the slotted nut off the crankshaft on a 400? maybe somebody has a homemade version of the tool for this and would like to share info?

ona 2 stroke ive heard of people blocking off the piston head with a block of wood crossing in to the exhaust ports of the cyclinder..........................

i have heard of people hitting it with a punch you could do that to get it off but i would never reassemble it with that method.
