Today after making a few airbox, exhaust, jetting, and swapping to a Splitfire plug mods, I experienced a big breakup in the ignition system. Since I made so many mod's at once I figured it had to be the jetting. Low and behold it was that darn Splitfire. Wish I would've tried that fix first. I spent all day trying to figure it out.

The engine started and idled fine. But when I took it for a ride it would cough, choke, and backfire. It broke up the most at the topend. After I put the stock NGK back in it, it ran fine.

Might have been just a faulty plug. Even brand new plugs can be f***ed sometimes.
