How do you adjust the choke on the 2000 Grizzly carb?????
#1
Hello all, once again I have another 2000 Grizzly question. How do you adjust the choke so the bike revs higher to warm it up. My dealer told
me there is no adjustment for the choke and that its simply a full on, half on, and off type choke setup. I think he's nuts, I have compared my bike
with 2 other (1999 & 2000) Grizzlies, all bikes were started after sitting all night outside in the snow. The other 2 Grizzlies started and ran at
high idle until the choke was set to half, both bikes idled just fine until they were ready for the trails(choke off). My bike will start on full idle but only runs for a minute. when I set it to half choke it stalls, so I restart it once again on half idle, the bike will run roughly for about 2 minutes and the stall. Now with the choke off and a little throttle the bike will start and I have to baby-sit the bike until it warms up usually takes about 5 minutes like this, then the bike purrs like a kitten. I am using 10W40 oil and premium gas and the bike only has about 500Km on it.
Any help would be appreciated.
