Default Final drive vent hose on Timberwolf

I have a 94 Yamaha Timberwolf 2 whl drive , while riding in heavy brush and fallen trees , I noticed the final drive vent hose had fallen/pulled off when done riding, where does it route? does it go up high so no water gets in or does it stay level with the frame?

thanks\\any pics would be good

Up the left frame rail around the airbox and into a rubber fitting behind the gas tank and under the tank cover. Pull your seat and you will see it right next to the air intake.
